Core Coverage
Covers the actual cost of veterinary treatment for unexpected illnesses and injuries that occur after the applicable waiting periods and are not considered pre-existing.
This includes:
Diagnostic tests, surgeries, and hospital stays
Medications prescribed by your veterinarian
Orthotic and prosthetic devices, carts, and nursing care
Dental illness and injury treatment
Prescription food and supplements when prescribed for covered conditions*
Veterinary treatment provided by licensed professionals in Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico
Recovery and Complementary Care Add-on
Rehabilitative therapy
Acupuncture
Hydrotherapy
Chiropractic care
Behavioral modification and therapy
Homeopathy
Naturopathy
Breeding Add-on
Illnesses and injuries related to breeding, whelping, and queening
*Coverage includes 50% of the cost of prescription food and supplements for eligible conditions, up to two months of regular feeding from the date the condition begins.
